You have to dare to win.

Labinot, or Notti, as he is known to us, came to Sweden from Kosovo on March 15, 2015. On April 1, 2015, he started working as a cleaner at Provektor, a job he found out about through acquaintances.

-Learning the language was the priority for me when I came to Sweden, number two, getting a job and a salary. I studied at SFI (Swedish for immigrants) and cleaned at Provektor. A perfect combination. I practiced my Swedish at work," says Notti.

Notti learned Swedish quickly, and soon let us know that he had a purpose for the job at Provektor, and it wasn't to clean. He wanted to move on....

Fixing eligibility

Basically, Notti is a trained electrician in his home country but this does not mean he can work as a qualified electrician in Sweden. Stina, our HR, helped Notti. His grades and education from Kosovo were validated (translated) and he was able to move on to work as a technician in our workshop.

The workshop is an excellent school, you learn the basics and you get to know the team, and for Notti, an excellent opportunity to speak even more Swedish.

Diligent and stubborn - Notti did not stop there. Her goal was to complete her education further and to be able to work as a full-fledged service electrician in Sweden. It was time to study again, this time at INSU (installers' training center). 400 points had to be "scraped together" - electrical theory, power engineering and electrical installation rules. Of course, Notti chose to work full time and study on weekends and evenings.

-A tough year. I knew that, but in addition to becoming a qualified electrician, my partner and I dreamed of getting a house, and then you need the money," laughs Notti.

Notti has never been afraid to work or work hard, he started at the age of 10 to help and provide for the family at home in Gjilani.

Now in the spring of 2022 it is fixed and ready! Now he can "just work".

-I'm so happy. I amnever bored at work, good cooperation, fun colleagues and a fantastic working environment and now I get to start working as an electrician.

We are happy to have Notti here with us. His sense of purpose is enormous. One goal was to become a service electrician, which he has achieved. Another goal was to buy a house with his partner Tia. And imagine! Notti and Tia bought a villa in Skara in March 2022. You have to dare to win.

What happens now, Notti?

- Now I will just enjoy myself for a while. Provektor have believed in me and supported me all the way, I am happy and grateful for that. Skara is my new home town and here I will stay. But of course the house needs some time, and not least my partner who has put up with me studying," says an insightful, stubborn and diligent electrician.
