Replacement of switchgear at Nordkalk

Time for a proper upgrade. Our customer Nordkalk outside Falköping is going to replace a switchgear. The current ones are from the 1950s, well used and functioning, but now a new one is to be put in place. Nordkalk is the leading limestone company in northern Europe and is present in about 30 locations. At Uddagården outside Falköping, the main products are limestone and limestone flour for the construction industry and agriculture.

We have been working on the project since June 2022 and preparations have been made on site since September with temporary switching and splicing (gjuthartz) and replacement of old oil cables. Björn, Anton, David and Kevin took the evening shift so as not to disrupt the customer's production. Work will now begin on installing the new switchgear in the coming weeks.

The project will be completed in April 2023.
