More sun for the University of Skövde

Campus Skövde is owned by Akademiska Hus, one of Sweden's largest real estate companies, with a clear focus on developing and managing premises for colleges and universities. Great emphasis is placed on sustainability and reducing the climate footprint. One step is to invest in solar energy.

The University of Skövde has a solar energy system since 2021. We are expanding their existing system with 47.17 kWp. 106 panels are mounted on the west side of the G house where there were previously no solar cells. The new solar panels are connected to the existing plant to get a longer production during the day.
