Now Skövdebostäder's investment Ekedal at Boulongerskogen is ready and the occupation of 150 apartments divided into three houses is completed.

The accommodation is mainly an investment for students/young people as it is an affordable and central accommodation with small apartments. The three lamellar houses are equipped with a rational booking and access system, of which two of the houses are equipped with solar cells that are estimated to produce 18kW of solar electricity.

The houses are built as passive houses and this also places great demands on the electrical installation in terms of waterproofing. For best energy savings, only LED luminaires are installed. In stairwells, acoustic detectors are also installed that turn on the luminaires only when someone is in the stairwell. We have also prepared the properties for future electric car charging.

Passage system & solar cells

By installing a passage system with an integrated booking system for laundry rooms from Aptus, the everyday life of both the property company and the tenants is made easier and more efficient. The solar cells are black glass/laminate type. Two of the houses are equipped with solar cells that are estimated to produce 18kW of solar electricity.
